Hooked rug interpretation of map of Conantum.
This rug was donated to the Kalmia Woods Corporation by the artist's children. It was created in an neighborhood craft group and originally used by the McDonough children as a Matchbox car race track. It later hung in the great room of their house until Mr. McDonough moved to Maine in the early 2000s. Prior to his passing Jim McDonough and his five children, 10 grandchildren and 6 greats who all love Conantum decided to honor Ros by presenting this rug to the Kalmia Woods Corporation, to be permanently displayed in the community, passing from one resident to a caring neighbor or local institution at that time.
