This was designed ergonomically for a client who had a bad back and needed to work standing up (before it became all the rage), so the height and stretcher measurements were customized for him. Tania, who trained as a cabinet-maker in the Cabinet & Furniture Making Program at The North Bennet Street School in Boston’s North End later worked as a furniture conservator in order to eat.
