Edge House - Graham BrindleDescription
Architectural Design - Digital Poster Created: 2024
A design for a residence that occupies the border between a dense, coniferous forest, and a body of water. The design objective of the house was to divide and juxtapose the experience of these two landscapes. A single demising wall is stretched down the center, dividing the house into two halves. Contemplative and private spaces are placed on the west side of the wall facing the forest. While communal living spaces are placed along the east side facing the inlet. The wall bends and turns to articulate a series of distinct spaces along each side of the wall.
