This calligraphy map was created by my mother in 1987, the year before she passed away. A lifelong artist and maker, she expressed her creativity through sewing, knitting, art, and later, calligraphy. She and her husband, Oscar, were among the original homeowners in Conantum, where they raised our family—Kathy, Steve, and Diane. This map reflects her love of Concord’s history and her remarkable artistic talent. Her creativity and dedication to the arts were a lasting inspiration and helped inspire my own artistic journey.Type of Painting
