Mexican Boy Ink Drawing - Lois Anne WhitneyDescription
A young Mexican boy carrying two buckets of water hanging from a wooden rod across his shoulders. During the summer of 1964, while living in Cloudcroft, NM with my family, my Mother and I took a trip to Mexico. This Mexican boy is one of seven images I sketched of Mexican people living their everyday lives.Type of Drawing

Note
I grew up in Conantum from 1952 - 1960's, and returned to my childhood home at #178 Heath's Bridge Road from 1992 - 2022 with my husband, Alan, and our children Eric and Sarah Whitney. My parents, Hugo & Pennie Logemann Jr., were among the "original Conantum settlers". Hugo served as Treasurer and later Alan did, too. Pennie was a founding member of the Conantum Garden Club and I also became a member as an adult.
