This poetry collection, winner of the Eric Hoffer Award, includes 45 poems written between 1990 and 2010, published by Bob Between 2002 and 2015. he also wrote half a dozen books. Bob always loved both reading and writing poetry, and his output expanded after his retirement from Bolt Beranek and Newman in 1986. His last chapbook was published in 2015, the year he died. The poems reflected his wide interests in human nature, his favorite locales (especially Concord and the Maine coast) and personal reflections, often with a touch of his wry sense of humor.

Hester Brooks, Bob's wife said, "We moved to Conantum with our three young children in 1967. It felt like coming home. The family flourished, and we all thrived in this creative environment. Bob with his writing and art work, I with assorted crafts and our children over time creating works in clay, mixed media, bronze, glass, digital media, and print. sometimes as hobbies, other times professionally. Bob's creativity and encouragement have been sustained through the generations, now including his great grandchildren."
