Warren B Rudman Courthouse - Jean Paul Carlhian

Name/Title

Warren B Rudman Courthouse - Jean Paul Carlhian

Description

Federal courthouse, Concord, NH The artist, (my father), died in 2013, but I think he would say that this, one of his last designs, was very satisfying in that he worked closely with the justices, to design a serious municipal building employing intelligent solutions to the complex issues of circulation and security. (The judiciary, the public and those in custody all need separate access routes.) The functionality was paramount but the architect did not compromise the aesthetic.
