Scope and Content

Map of Route for Beaver River Rat Race. Promotional flyer published by Bennett Press, Craigleith and Collingwood. Physical Characteristics: A blue piece of letter paper has a map of the Beaver River Rat Race Route printed in black on one side. The title, "BEAVER RIVER RAT RACE ROUTE MAP", is in the top right corner. The map has the roads and rivers of the Thornbury and surrounding area. The route is indicated with thick, black lines and handwritten circled numbers from 1 to 10. Other information, such as road names, instructions, places, etc., has been handwritten in black (before it was photocopied). On the front, the bottom right corner reads "Compliments of ....., Bennett Press (Collingwood) Ltd., LITHOGRAPHIC PRINTERS" and is then followed by the office addresses and phone numbers for both Craigleith and Collingwood. The back of the paper has handwritten notes and numbers in both black and blue pen. At the end is "Received by M. Bennett" in blue ink.
