A small pre-written postcard detailing the information for the next meeting of the Beaver Valley Branch (No. 281) of the Canadian Legion. The full content is as follows:
"Beaver Valley Branch No. 281 Canadian Legion, B.E.S.L. / Dear Comrade: The regular monthly meeting of this Branch will be held in the Legion Club Room, at the Clarksburg Armouries on Thursday, May 13 1943, at 8 p.m. You are cordially invited to attend. Yours sincerely, H.O. Matthews / Secretary."
