Digital scan of a photograph of Bill Trotter planting trees with a caption that reads "Spring 1960 - the beginning. Bill planting young cedars on the bare lot. Hardly a blade of grass to be seen !" from a scrapbook. Bill Trotter is holding a shovel in one hand as he leans down to place a cedar sapling in the ground with the other. The photo was taken at the family cottage (Periwinkle Cabin) in Craigleith.
