In the foreground is two horses pulling a machine, beside five adults and six children who are identified from left to right as: Thomas Boone, Verdella Boone, Delphine Boone, Herb (Cap) Boone (behind) Howard Boone, George Boone, George Bell, Wilt Cook, Ernie Boone, Jim Bell and Al Frost. Behind them, are stacked bricks under covers, with trees and buildings visible in the background. Written in black ink on each end of a paper label below the print reads "Boones Brickyard Thornbury.
