Cradle scythe (more commonly known as Grain Cradle) A wooden grain cradle has four long wooden fingers and a metal scythe, which are attached to a long, curved wooden handle. Grain Cradle- used for cutting grain circa 1920, before the creation of the mechanical reapers.
