Description

Fossiliferous Slab with Crinoid Stems. Large, grey fossiliferous rock has several fossilized crinoid stems on one side of the rock, near the edge. The surface of one side of the rock with the fossils (which will be referred to as the top of the rock) is mainly smooth, but some of the rock has broken off near the edges, creating more than one level on the surface of the rock. The crinoid stems are visible all over the top of the rock, but mainly near the edges. There are two crinoid stems, which are very long (approximately 29 cm) and curved. There are several small crinoid stems near the jagged edge. The bottom of the rock is darker and it is not smooth.
