Description

Brown-coloured soft cover, 9-page paper booklet, fastened together with two staples. This book may have been used to draft the 1923 voters' list for the Town of Thornbury. The type-written title of the booklet states "Voters' List / of the municipality of the / Town of Thornbury / for the year 1922, Part III". "1922" has been crossed out and "1923" has been written in ink. Lower down on the page the date "March, 1923" has been crossed out and the date "July 1924" has been written in ink. Resident's name, occupation, and address are listed by polling sub-divisions on pages 1 through 11. Many of the names have been crossed out in red ink and alternative (illegible) information has been written in. Typed on the back cover is "This List was posted up in the / Clerk's Office on the 23rd day of / April, 1923." The date has been crossed out and "19th" and "1924" have been written in ink. Written in pencil at the bottom of the cover is the number "200" which has been circled.
