Description

Cream-coloured, 20-page paper booklet. This appears to be a draft for Thornbury's 1925 Voter's list. The type-written title in black ink states "Voter's List / of the municipality of the / Town of Thornbury / for the year / 1924". The number "5" has been written in pencil over the "4" in "1924". The title, a statement by the Town Clerk Edward Rorke, and a statement on where the voters list will be posted, are encased in black-lined rectangular borders on the first page of the booklet. The name "Edward Rorke" has been crossed out and "Geo. Boone" written in pencil. Resident's name, occupation, address and tenant or owner designation are listed by polling sub-divisions on pages 1 through 20. The lists on page 1 - 12 are crossed out in red-pencil. The information listed on pages 13 - 20 have either been crossed out or left with a check mark. Additional information is penciled in at the bottom of each list.
