Description

Blue-coloured, 28-page paper booklet, fastened together with two staples. This booklet appears to be a draft of the 1954 Voters' List for the Town of Thornbury. The type-written title of the booklet states "Voters' List / For the year / 1953 / of the municipality of the / Town of Thornbury". "1953" has been crossed out and "1954" has been written in blue ink. Throughout the book, the date "1953" has been crossed out and the date "1954" has been written in ink. "Revised Oct 18, 1954" is written in blue ink at the top of the front cover. There are further text revisions on the front cover. Resident's name, occupation, address and tenant or owner designation are listed by polling sub-divisions on pages 1 through 28. Each page has multiple text revisions including names that have been crossed out in pencil and names that have been added in blue ink.
