Description

This booklet appears to be a draft for the 1940 Voters' List for the Township of Collingwood. Green-coloured, soft covered 82-page paper booklet. The typewritten title on the front cover states "Voters' List / of the Municipality of the / Township of / Collingwood / County of Grey / For the Year / 1939". The title and statement from the clerk, Bruce Hamilton are enclosed in a rectangular border. The interior pages list, in typewritten columns, residents names, addresses, and qualifications. Various names on each page are crossed out in red and additional names are added in pencilled handwriting. The "1939" date on the final page has been crossed out and "1940" inserted. The entire lower edge of the booklet is charred from a fire.
