Description

A postcard has a coloured photograph of two men walking up a mountain with a sign, "Fat Man's Misery", posted between the men. Some trees and vines are present on the rocks, but the mountain is mainly a dark grey rock face with several large rocks creating a pathway. The back of the postcard has printing in green. A vertical line of text, "Photogr. & Publ. by Rolfoto Studios, Midland, Ont., Canada", divides the postcard in half: the left side for a message and the right side for the address. The left side has a brief description of the photograph: ENTRANCE TO FAT MAN'S MISERY Those going through this cave will notice carv- ings on the flat wall on the right side. These carvings are believed to be Indian Figure Writing. Blue Mountain Scenic Caves, Collingwood, Ontario, Canada. The right side has an area for the stamp and then the words "POST CARD" and "Address" below. At the bottom left is a graphic of a "K" and the text, "Printed in U.S.A." The numbers "39205" are printed on the back, bottom centre.
