Picture postcard, decorated with a black and white photograph showing the Thornbury pier. Small fishing boats are visible on both sides of the dock, a dilapidated building can be seen on the shore and a shack is visible at the head of the dock. There are seven people and one dog visible walking along the pier. A corner of the Reduction Works building is visible at the extreme left. Printed below the image reads "Fishing Fleet. Thornbury. Ont. Canada.". Postage markings are printed on the reverse side. Affixed to the top right corner of the reverse side is a purple 3 cent King George VI Canada Postage stamp, stamped beside it is a post mark that reads " Clarksburg, DEC 5 15, ONT", below, written in green ink is a message from Clarksburg, addressed to "Miss L.P Metcalf, 384 Bronson Ave, Ottawa, ONT".Postcard Details
