Letter
The director of the Georgian Bay District Fruit Growers Association wanted to gather information from the fruit growers in the area. The purpose was to find out the amount of laborers required for that picking (harvest) season, so the association could help to arrange additional help. The form needed to be completed and returned to the John Smart, Secretary.
Physical Characteristics: A white piece of paper with a black typing on the front side only. At the top centre of the page is the title: "GEORGIAN BAY DISTRICT FRUIT GROWERS ASSOCIATION". To the right is the date, "Collingwood, July 9, 1943.". The body of the text is has three, indented paragraphs, followed by section to be filled out with dotted, black lines. Below the form is another paragraph, which begins with "N.B.". At the bottom, right of the letter is the name of the sender, "John Smart, Secretary.
