Scope and Content

A letter from the Wartime Prices and Trade Board (Rations Administration) to local Ration Boards. Physical Characteristics: The letter is on two white, legal-sized pages, and the text is in black. The first sheet of the letter can be identified by the text at the top, which is as follows: WARTIME PRICES AND TRADE BOARD RATION ADMINISTRATION MONTREAL JUNE 22nd, 1943. Below the header is the title, "LETTER TO LOCAL RATION BOARDS NO. 34.", which is underlined in black. Below the title is a list of people or positions who will receive a copy of this letter. The back of the first sheet is blank. The second sheet of the letter has the header, "L.R.B. Letter-#34, page 2." on the top right side. The bottom of the letter is signed by P. A. Woodward, Administration. The back of the second page is also blank.
