Adding Machine
The adding machine is made of grey, blue and black plastic with white, red and blue keys (buttons). The plastic on the top half of the adding machine is grey and textured. There are two pieces that can be removed from the top of the adding machine: a cover over the printer and the cover over the paper roll. The top, proper left side has five lines cut out of the plastic, similar to cooling vents.The plastic on the bottom half of the adding machine is blue and textured. The plastic on the front of the adding machine is black. The front of the adding machine has white number keys in the centre, and red and blue keys are on the sides (Note: the blue keys are mathematical signs: +, -, =, etc). The black panel on the front above the keys has the word, "Printer 2000", in silver, and there are also letters, a button and a dial on the black panel. The power switch is on proper left side on the blue plastic half. The back of the adding machine has a black cord plugged in and a sticker with the words, "DISCOUNT UNIT", on the top line. The bottom of the adding machine has a silver sticker with the serial number and model. A white and red warranty sticker is attached to the bottom, proper left corner. A hollow, rectangular section is on the bottom, below the keys; this area has vents and a white and red sticker attached. There are four cork pieces attached to the bottom of the adding machine.
Note: The adding machine has pieces that can be detached, but usually are not. If pieces are removed from the adding machine then a new catalogue needs to be made for each part. The pieces have already been numbered in the case that they accidentally fall off. Here are the numbers for the attached pieces:
Printer Cover - 2007-012-001-b
Flat, grey plastic piece is molded with a rectangular section cut out of the front to fit over the printed paper display section and a piece out of the back to lift the piece up. 14.2 x 11.2 x 0.2 cm
Paper Roll Cover - 2007-012-001-c
Grey plastic piece is L-shaped to fit over the paper roll. There are two protruding round piece each side, which fit into the adding machine and allow this piece to move up and down. On the interior, top section is a sticker with blue text and graphic to show how to install the printer ribbon and the printer paper roll. 9.4 x 8.5 x 5 cm
Printer Cover - 2007-012-001-d
White plastic piece conical, shaped similar to a straw, with a hollow centre. 7 cm x 1 cm (Length x Diameter)
Cord - 2007-012-001-e
Black three pronged cord is covered in black plastic. This is attached to the back of the adding machine with an end with three plug in holes. The black cord has frayed where it plugs into the back of the adding machine and the area has been covered with black electrical tape. A middle section of the cord, closer to the three pronged plug, has been wrapped in black electrical tape. Approximately 236 cm in length.
Paper in Printer - 2007-012-001-f
A white roll of paper has three rows of numbers printed in black at the top in the printer display area: 535 +; 275 +; and 6380 *. On the side of the white paper is the number, "90", handwritten in red pencil. Width - 5.7 cm; Length - unknown as rolled upMade/Created
