Scope and Content

A memorandum to Messrs. Middlebro & Scott (Law Firm in Owen Sound) fro J. Parker, Treasurer of the County of Grey is in regards to the taxes due on Charlie Campbell's two properties: S½ Lot 19, Concession 2; and S½ Lot 20, Concession 1 of Collingwood Township. Physical Characteristics: A piece of letterhead memo paper from J. Parker, the Treasurer of the County of Grey is dated July 2, 1931. The top edge of the paper is red, possibly where it was attached to a memo pad. The preformatted text is black and the added typed text is purple carbon ink. The memo is addressed to "Messrs. Middlebro & Scott, Owen Sound, Ont.". The logo for the Corporation of the County of Grey is at the top, centre, between the name of Middlebro & Scott and J. Parker. There are double black lines just below the logo and they spann the length of the page. Under the double lines is the following text: "Taxes are due on the following Lands in the Township of Collingwood, South half of Lot Nineteen, Concession Two and the South half of Lot Twenty, Concession One, 1930 Defaulters Roll $99.00". Below those three lines of text is "Search" typed in the centre and ".50 Paid" typed near the right edge and between two lines.There is a Note at the bottom of the page. The back of the page is blank, but the text is visible.
