Description

Hard cover, 256 page book entitled "Ontario Public School Geography." The front cover has two illustrations printed, one is of a boat on water and the other is of a train on land. Both illustrations are have a red rectangular border. In the centre of the front cover is the title "Ontario / Public School / Geography / Authorized by / The Minister Of Education For Ontario / W.J. Gage & Co. Limited, Toronto." This information is contained within two decorative columns caped with red maple leaves and the Ontario crest is printed in the centre of the book. The book is fastened together with stitches and two staples along the spine. The interior pages contained printed information, black and white photographs, colour illustrations and topographical maps. There does not appear to be a publication date for this book. Handwriting in black ink in on the inside cover includes "Kenneth Campbel / Gorden " / Margaret " / Lora Brinn / age 12". Further handwriting on the first page includes " Gorden Campbell / 1936 1937 1938 1939 1940 1941 / and / Margaret Campbell 10 - age 11 1940 - 1941 / Grade 4 / and Lora Brinn only / Grade 7 1941 - 1940 / age 11. Craigleith Ont."
