Scope and Content

Cream-coloured, 4-page cardstock pamphlet. The title page, type written in green ink, states "Clarksburg Literary and / Scientific Club / At The Community Hall / Clarksburg / Fortieth Anniversary / The Nations Gather To Celebrate / "Peace on ear, goodwill to men" / Wednesday, April 22nd., 1936". The 2nd, 3rd, and 4th pages list the menu and the programme of the day which included a list of members representing historic countries and their greetings. Beside each country and representative's name a check mark or circle and occasional comment are handwritten in pencil.
