A large complete fossil, trilobite - pseudogygites latimarginatus, is clearly displayed on one side of a black slab of rock (shale). The (trilobite - pseudogygites latimarginatus) fossil in the rock is large, approximately 8 cm by 6 cm. The side of the rock with the large fossil is smooth.
The other side of the slab is brown and black in colour. The brown and black side is not smooth, showing the layers of the shale which have broken off; this side also has a small, partial fossil near the long edge.Dimensions
