Description

A receipt or letter from the Treasurer, J. Parker, of the County of Grey, certifying that George Campbell paid his property taxes for the S½ Lot 19, Concession 2. Physical Characteristics: A piece of letterhead paper from the County of Grey Treasurer's Office has "GW Campbell" handwritten in the top, left corner and a blue oval stamp in the top, right corner with the date "JAN 26 1885". This document has both preformatted and handwritten black text on dotted lines. The document certifies that the taxes have been paid for "South ½ Lot No 19 in 2nd Con". At the bottom, right corner is the signature, "TJ. Parker", the Treasurer. The back of the paper is blank.
