Scope and Content

A small blue booklet outlining the rules of order governing the proceedings of the Municipal Council of the Town of Thornbury. The rules were adopted by the passing of Bylaw No. 13 in the year 1916. The text of the bylaw is broken down into the following sections: Rules of Order, Meetings and Adjournments, Special Meetings, Adjournment, Minutes. They were passed under Mayor M. Snetsinger and Clerk Edward Rourke. While the rules were adopted on November 20, 1916, it is unclear when this booklet was produced.
