Two mills are visible, on the right is the brick Parkinson Mill and on the right is T. and J.N. Andrews' grist mill. Signage on Andrews' mill reads " T & J Andrews Eureka Flouring Mills". Two horse-drawn carriages and two people standing are visible on the bridge, wooden flumes are visible below, along the banks of the river. Printed in black below the image reads "Thornbury Mills and River Bridge". Printed in black on the reverse side reads "Canadian Souvenir Postcard" and below are postage markings. Written in blue ink along the top edge reads "Eureka Roller Mills and near the bottom "R.J. Keast". A message written in pencil reads "From your cousin, Lorne Johnston. Loree, Ont." addressed to Mr. Herbert Johnston, Weidmann, Ont.
