A brass Guy's Dropper Carbide Lamp from the 1920-1930s, manufactured by the Shanklin Manufacturing Company of Springfield, Illinois.
Patents for the first Guy's Dropper were issued in 1913. This version was manufactured pre 1932 when the company was sold to Universal Lamp Company, who continued to manufacture the Guy's Dropper.Location
