A Bird's Nest Thunderegg from the Freida Beds along the Deschutes River in East Central Oregon. Cut side shows partially open center containing Green Moss which resembles Bird's Nest and is filled with some bedding lines at one side. Surrounding rock is in Brown, Grey and Lavender. Center could have been filled totally with bedding lines except that Egg was interrupted during formation by Earth movement.Dimensions
