Description

A 3/8" (.9 cm) thick slice of Agate from Brazil showing both fortification lines at one end and bedding lines at the other end. Fortification lines are in Cream and Tan tones surrounded by a White one. Center is fortified area resembles a fish. Infiltration path is obvious, extending from edge to fortification area. The other end is composed of bedding lines in White, Blues and Reds. Outer edge is Carnelian in color.
