Chemical Composition: SiO2 (MnO2) Crystal System: Triclinic System Description: Common Name: Quartz var. agate (dendritic) Chemistry: SiO2 Class: Silicates Location: COPCO, Southern Oregon Description: Thin, elongated oval with "saddleback" concave polished face. Dendritic structure is light to dark brown in a solid mass with fine "hairs" emitting from the outer edges.
