Description

Two large thin slabs (approx. 10.5"x 9" x 5/16") of petrified wood from Sunnyside, Washington. Colors: polished side shows white, beiges, browns, greys and black. Probably from Oligocene epoch, Tertiary period, Cenozoic era (~40 mya). Delmar description: Two 5/16" thick slices of petrified wood from sunnyside, Washington. Polished sides show wood in white, creams, tans, beiges, greys, and black - some gold. Pieces are cut with grain and are roughly rectangular in shape. All sides are cute smooth except one on each that is jagged. Probably from Oligocene epoch, Tertiary period, Cenozoic era. Pieces vary slightly in size. Piece are cut like boards. Dimensions: 9-1/4" x 10-5/8" & 9-1/4" x 11"
