Donor: Delmar Smith Date/Period of Time: Mesozoic Era, Late Cretaceous Condition: Good Dimensions: 5½ x 6½" (14 x 16.5 cm) Marking Location: On Specimen Description: One group of shells in concretion, showing bivalve shells and turritella shells. Of the phylum: Mollusca. Bivalves are of the class: Pelecypoda. Turritella are of the class: Gastropoda. Found on the Siskiyou MTS, by the old gas station on the old highway south of Ashland, Oregon. Hornbrook Formation
