Description

A 1.2 cm thick slice of petrified wood from Badger pocket or gopher pocket, near Ellensburg, Washington. Colors: center is in dark Brown containing some lighter brown with Agate deposit. Area around center is in creams and tans. Four cracks extend inward from outer edge. One area to the side contains some yellow and brown. Probably from Oligocene epoch, Tertiary period, Cenozoic era (~40 mya).
