Chemical Composition: SiO2 Crystal System: Triclinic System Description: Common Name: Jagate Chemistry: SiO2 , Silicon dioxide Class: Class: Silicates Location: Oregon Description: (Delmar) Large piece of an agate and jasper combination rock. Polished side shows a large white crystalline area running along one side of piece. The other side contains a central round zone in 'moss' design in browns and reds in an agate base. Scattering of browns, blacks, and reds, some greens, of rock are found on this same side of piece in blotched pattern. Several crystalline 'spots' are apparent.
