Chemical Composition: SiO2 Crystal System: Triclinic System Description: Common Name: Chrysocolla Chemistry: Cu2H2Si2O5(OH)4 Location: Arizona AKA: Gem Silica Description: (Delmar) One triangular chunk of chrysocolla. Polished on two sides with some quartz crystal in hollow. An electric blue mineral, hydrous copper silicate, found where copper minerals have been reached by ground water solutions. Mixed with quartz (silicon dioxide) to form a mineral rock. Found in copper beds of Arizona. Electric blue, green, black, and white quartz crystal.
