Chemical Composition: SiO2 Crystal System: Hexagonal System Description: Common Name: Agate (Medfordite) Chemistry: SiO2 , Silicon dioxide Class: Silicates Location: Crowfoot Rd., Jackson County, OR Description: Thin round slab with polished face. Half of specimen is a translucent white crystalline structure while the other half has brown and black, irregular striations with some light blue and gray areas towards the center area.
