Chemical Composition: SiO2 Crystal System: Triclinic System Description: Common Name: Thunderegg Chemistry: SiO2 , Silicon dioxide Class: Class: Silicates Location: Maupin. Oregon Description: One half of this piece shows clear to creamy white bedding lines. The other half is a lacy, blue-green crystal with some solid clear agate. The lace is also visible within the bedding lines section. Outer rock is green, tan and brown. This piece was on the "Rock Tour" in Salem, OR at the Capital Bldg. from 11/08 to 6/09.
