Description

Donor: Smith, Delmar Condition: Very Good Dimensions: 5¼" in diameter (13.3 cm) Marking Location: On Specimen Description: A 3/8" (.9 cm) thick slice from a limb cast from Tom Miner Basin, Wyoming (Wind River Country). Piece shows it fell over on its side while forming. One side of cast shows fortification lines in light tans and cream. The other half shows bedding lines in white, grey, and some tan, with some vertical marks interrupting the horizontal lines in one area. Bottom part of bedding is an opaque brown and grey rock which also surrounds most of the cast.
