Chemical Composition: SiO2 Crystal System: Hexagonal System Description: Common Name: Thunderegg Chemistry: SiO2 , Silicon dioxide Class: Silicates Location: Ashwood, Oregon (Friends Ranch) Description: A dual chambered thundereegg. One side has a small cavity lined with drusy quartz surrounded by a dark grey translucent agate. The other side is solid agate in greys to black with some yellow. There is also a small cavity lined with yellow and orange bumpy crystal.
