Donor: Delmar Smith Condition: Good Dimensions: (6.5 x 14 cm) 2½ x 5½" each half Marking Location: Rough Side Description: One group of 2 agates, each called "Amygdaloid", a Greek word meaning "Almond Shaped". The two halves show the polished silica center and crystal-like solid white center with blue)grey and white bedding lines surrounding center. From the Crooked River Canyon in Eastern Oregon near Prineville. Note: "Amygdaloid" - Igneous rock containing cavities filled with secondary minerals, almond shaped. Notes: Removed from inventory to silent auction
