Description

A piece of petrified wood from Eagle Point, Jackson County, Oregon. Growth rings blurred. Colors: Dark brown center surrounded by various shades of brown. Several wide and cracks are filled with opaque, white silicate material. One crack is filled partially with yellow, brown, and black agate. Probably from Oligocene epoch, Tertiary period, Cenozoic era (~40 mya).
