Donor: Delmar Smith Date/Period of Time: Condition: Very Good Dimensions: 5" x 6½" (12.7 x 16.5 cm) Marking Location: On Specimen Description: A ¾" (1.9 cm) thick slab of oil shale containing six different kinds of shells, one of which is turritella, from Texas. Polished side shows butterscotch an tan and cream shale with shell designs. Some crystalline spots and little dendrite.
