Description

Polished round of brown tubes surrounded by a lighter beige edge. From the Green River Formation in Wyoming Delmar description: 1/4" (.6cm) thick slice of petrified algae cluster from Eden Valley, Wyoming . This is a specimen of the oldest known algae types. Polished side shows "worm-like" design in browns with some silicate filler surrounded by beige at the outer edge of piece. Possibly blue green algae, and from Precambrian age
