Description

An Agate Nodule from Bear Creek, Jackson County, OR. Polished side shows Agate is half fortified and half with bedding lines in Whites, Creams and Greys. Bedding lines in this piece are unusual according to Delmar Smith "Because at the border between the fortified and bedded area, a bedding line is tilted indicating the Earth was moving (i.e. Earthquake) while the Nodule was filling. Two small open holes are at one edge.
