Description

A 1.2 cm thick slice of petrified wood from East Central Arizon, on Indian property. Variety: “Araucaria". (From Long H Ranch, Arizona). Tropical plant - no growth rings. Colors: dark browns and black containing some eyes. A large white quartz filled crack resembles a large bird in flight, has been said to resemble a prehistoric bird. Probably from Jurassic period, Mesozoic era (~200 mya).
