Both teeth are conical and pointed (resembling large canine teeth). Physical Characteristics: Liopleurodon was a genus of pliosaurid-plesiosaurian marine reptiles. The translation of the genus' name means "smooth sided tooth," referring to the identifying trait of the genus that can be seen in these specimens.
