Delmar describes this pieces as a slice of petrified wood , "Adamanaca Schilderia Pine" from Holbrook, Arizona. Varies in thickness. Piece is polished on one side and appears to be lacquered on the other. Colors: wood in dark brown, greys, black, tan and oranges. Rays seen. Several crystalline cracks seen, one opening visible. Probably from Jurassic period (Mesozoic era)
